Der diesjährige 8. Juli ist der 32. Todestag des grossen Führers Genossen KIM IL SUNG.
Das Ableben des Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG am 8. Juli 1994 war nicht nur für das koreanische Volk, sondern für alle Freunde Koreas, Anhänger der Juche-Ideologie und Antiimperialisten weltweit ein Tag der Trauer und des Schmerzes.
Das koreanische Volk verehrt den Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG als die Sonne Koreas und die Sonne des Juche, denn er hat, gestützt auf die von ihm begründete Juche-Ideologie, Korea von der barbarischen Kolonialherrschaft des japanischen Imperialismus befreit.
Er schenkte dem koreanischen Volk die Unabhängigkeit und die Freiheit.
Im befreiten Vaterland gründete er am 10. Oktober 1945 die Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) als Generalstab der Revolution und des Aufbaus des Sozialismus und am 9. September 1948 die Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) als den ersten freien, unabhängigen und demokratischen Staat des koreanischen Volkes.
Zeit seines Lebens wirkte Präsident KIM IL SUNG für das Glück und Wohl der Nation und des Volkes, getreu seiner Lebensmaxime Das Volk ist Gott.
Generalissimus KIM IL SUNG besiegte zwei imperialistische Mächte - Japan und die USA. Er war der erste Heerführer der Geschichte, der einen militärischen Sieg über die "allmächtigen" USA errungen hat.
Er baute die DVRK zu einem blühenden und mächtigen sozialistischen Staat auf, in dem die Macht vom Volk ausgeht.
Wegen seiner friedliebenden Aussenpolitik und dem Kampf für den Weltfrieden erlangte Präsident KIM IL SUNG ein hohes internationales Prestige.
Die Juche-Ideologie wird auf allen Kontinenten von der fortschrittlichen Menschheit unterstützt und studiert.

Eighty years ago today, on June 6, 1946, the Korean Children's Organization (KKO) was founded under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung .
Since then, she has been the vanguard of the children of Korea, raising them to be young revolutionaries and patriots.
The highly esteemed and paternal Marshal KIM JONG UN has written several important works in honor of the KKO.
On June 6, 2012, to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the founding of the KKO, he delivered the historic speech "Become the pillars of a prosperous Korea of the future!"
Other important works by Comrade KIM JONG UN on the Children's Organization include: Great efforts should be made to educate schoolchildren to be successors of the revolution , and Let the KKO members become true sons and daughters, young revolutionaries, of the socialist country!
These works strengthened the children's movement as the young avant-garde of the Juche Revolution.
Over the past ten years, many KKO members have developed into revolutionary talents with high knowledge, high morals and healthy bodies, becoming pillars of a flourishing Korea.
Many former KKO members became world-famous scientists who won the literary prize Our Classroom .
This year alone, 106 children were awarded the KIM IL SUNG Children's Honorary Award and 105 children were awarded the KIM JONG IL Children's Honorary Award.
Under the leadership of the highly revered, fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, the KKO members are growing into young revolutionaries and patriots. He considers working with the younger generation to be the most important task of the party and the state.

Vor 80 Jahren, am 6. Juni 1946, wurde unter der Führung des Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG die Koreanische Kinderorganisation (KKO) gefeiert.
Sie setzte die revolutionäre Tradition der am 15.
Dezember 1926 ebenfalls vom Genossen KIM IL SUNG gegründeten Saenal-Kinder
Während des bewaffneten antijapanischen Befreiungskampfes hatte er auch das Kinderkorps gegründet, um die Kinder Koreas zu Trägern der Revolution und der Gestaltung einer glücklichen Zukunft zu machen.
Aus der KKO, die nach der Befreiung Koreas (15. August 1945) gegründet worden war, machte Präsident KIM IL SUNG die junge Avantgarde und die Meister des neuen demokratischen Korea.
Während des Vaterländischen Befreiungskrieges (Korea-Krieg, 1950-1953) gegen die USA-Aggressoren halfen die KKO-Mitglieder den Kämpfern der Koreanischen Volksarmee (KVA) bei der Verteidigung der Heimat.
Die Mitglieder der KKO beteiligen sich aktiv am Aufbau des glücklichen sozialistischen Lebens in der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK).
Die KKO ist die Kinderbewegung des sozialistischen Korea. Sie macht das Leben der Kinder glücklich und froh. Sie erzieht die Kinder zur Solidarität und zu Dienern des Volkes.
Präsident KIM IL SUNG, der Vorsitzende KIM JONG IL und der hochverehrte väterliche Marschall KIM JONG UN, deren ganze Liebe den Kindern gehörten und gehört, nannten und nennt die Kinder der DVRK "kleine Könige".

DPRK Missile Administration Conducts Firing of New Air Defence Missiles Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- The Missile Administration of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on August 23 conducted the firing of two types of new air defence missiles of improved version at different targets to test their combat capability. Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, oversaw the firing. He was accompanied by Jo Chun Ryong, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Jong Sik, first deputy department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Air Chief Marshal Kim Kwang Hyok, commander of the Air Force of the Korean People's Army, and Kim Yong Hwan, president of the DPRK Academy of Defence Sciences. Through the firing, it has been assessed that the new air defence missile weapon systems have superior combat capability of fast response to various aerial targets such as attack drones and cruise missiles and their operation and reaction mode is based on unique and special technology. The firing particularly proved that the technological features of two types of projectiles are very suitable for destroying various aerial targets. That day, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un indicated an important task to be carried out by the sector of national defence science of the DPRK ahead of the Party Congress.
Press Statement of First Vice-chief of KPA General StaffGangster-like Logic of Impudent "War Apostle" Can Never Work Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Bok, first vice-chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, issued the following press statement "Gangster-like Logic of Impudent 'War Apostle' Can Never Work" on August 25: As being witnessed by the international community, the U.S.-led joint military drill Ulji Freedom Shield is now underway in the ROK which borders the DPRK, disturbing the regional security environment. Against this backdrop, the U.S. accustomed to turning black into white revealed its impudence and shamelessness again, stunning the world public. On August 24, the U.S. Forces Command in the ROK made absurd remarks that the drill is a "regular and defensive one without preemptive strike and offensive operation" and "it is not to prepare for aggression but to bolster up deterrence". It is a generally-acknowledged fact that the large-scale war drill against a state can never be "defensive" one as it is being staged by the world's biggest nuclear weapons state and more than ten satellite states in the region of the Korean peninsula technically at war. As proof of it, more than ten F-35 stealth fighters of the U.S. Air Force arrived at the U.S. military bases in the ROK on August 25 to participate in the drill. The F-35 stealth fighters stationed in Japan as the core reinforcements to be sent to the ROK before everything in case of contingency on the Korean Peninsula are now engaged in intensive training day and night as soon as they landed on the U.S. military base in Kunsan. This fact makes it possible to realize well the purpose of the drill Ulji Freedom Shield. And with the possibility of the permanent or routine deployment of F-35 stealth fighters in Kunsan or other U.S. military bases in the ROK becoming the topic of discussion due to their participation in the drill, all kinds of F-35 fighters including F-35A, F-35B and F-35 Lightning II are taking part in the drill, claiming that they are training the capability to carry out the combined operation with the ROK army. This is a new record in the history of the adventurous U.S.-ROK war drills. In fact, the current joint military drill is the one for an actual war which makes its provocative nature more clear as it renewed the records of all the past rehearsals for anti-DPRK war in its nature, scale and mode. The recent remarks of the commander of the U.S. forces in the ROK serve as a supporting evidence of it. Soon after Ulji Freedom Shield started, he said that the mode they train today would be a basis for the capability to fight tonight and the power to win tomorrow's victory, fanning up the war fever of the ROK military warmongers and before the drill, he said that the important thing is not the number but the capacity and the key point is to keep the capacity to do something on the Korean peninsula. The rehearsal of the new combined operational plan for expanding attack into the territory of the DPRK after the preemptive strike at its nuclear facilities, etc is the most solid expression of their will to invade the DPRK. The current drill has changed its shape into a multi-national military one as even the expedition of the U.S. Marine Corps from the outside of the region and troops of members of the UN Command are taking part in it together with the U.S. forces in the ROK and the ROK army, the mainstay of it. And it has turned into the biggest, the longest and the worst war drill in the world as well as the Asia-Pacific region as it reached the highest record in number and period of field maneuvering drill. However, the U.S. side strongly insists that Ulji Freedom Shield is a "defensive one" from A to Z. In particular, the training for preemptive nuclear strike at the DPRK is a must in the U.S.-ROK military drills which have been a custom from long time ago. This more clearly indicates who is the arch criminal threatening humankind with nukes and the main culprit disturbing peace. The threatening nature of Ulji Freedom Shield is clearly proved by the U.S. intention to occupy the Korean peninsula and direct the arrow of attack against its enemy states in the region. Recently the U.S. military authorities said that the U.S. forces in the ROK do not focus on the Korean Peninsula only and the ROK is like an island or an anchored aircraft carrier between Japan and the mainland of China, talking about the so-called strategic flexibility of the U.S. forces in the ROK. The typical Yankee-style arrogance and impudence of the "war apostle" aimed to mislead the reality and turn black into white with the third-rate wordplay while infringing upon the security interests of a sovereign state and endangering the regional security environment can never work. We are watching everything carefully and ready to cope with any situation. The U.S. and the ROK sides would be well advised to bear in mind that if they continuously persist in the above-said military rehearsal, they will certainly face up the unpleasant situation and pay a dear price.
Spokesman for KPA General Staff Issues Press Statement Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army on August 22 issued the following press statement "The situation of the ROK clouded with powder smoke will further bolster the full readiness of our army": Despite the unanimous concern and rejection of the public at home and abroad, the U.S. and the ROK clans finally started the large-scale joint military drill Ulji Freedom Shield on August 18. The joint military drill Ulji Freedom Shield, being staged on land, at sea and in the air of the ROK under the deceptive signboard of "shield of freedom", is an extremely provocative and aggressive large-scale drill for an actual war clearly aimed at a sudden preemptive attack on the DPRK as it is an actual command and field maneuvering drill for applying and mastering new manuals and methods of modern warfare in actual conditions of the Korean peninsula. The gravity and danger of the drill lie in the fact that it includes the application of "OPLAN 2022", a war scenario simulating "preemptive strike against origin" as regards the nuclear facilities of the DPRK, and various kinds of exercises staged by forces and mechanized strike groups of regimental-level and above to maneuver in attacking formation and fire live shells. The reckless war drill of the U.S. and the ROK warmongers is seriously threatening the security environment of the DPRK and pushing the situation on the Korean peninsula and in the region to the extreme tension. Particularly, some warships belonging to the British army which were engaged in the joint maritime drill in the Pacific entered the Pusan operational base and other forces of member states of the "UN Command" participated in the joint military drill, and thus the "Ulji Freedom Shield" completely turned into a multinational joint military drill and the military threats against the DPRK was redoubled. All the facts clearly show once again that the adventurous military drill of the U.S. and the ROK leads to the destruction of balance of power in the region and the chief culprit of harassing peace on the Korean peninsula is none other than the U.S. and the ROK. No place in the world is like the surrounding area of the DPRK where huge forces are concentrated and conduct actual military drills. The full readiness of our army to perfectly contain and smash any hostile military move against the DPRK will be further bolstered. The DPRK army as already declared will respond to the military provocations of the hostile forces posing direct threat to the safety of the country with proper and indiscriminate exercise of the right to self-defence.

Highest Glory to Representatives of Great Honour of DPRK, Admirable Sons Ceremony of Awarding State Commendations to Commanding Officers and Combatants of KPA Overseas Operation Unit Takes Place Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- The outstanding fighting spirit and bravery of the Korean People's Army reliably guaranteeing the ever-victorious tradition of the Juche revolution with invincible arms are writing the legendary biography of heroes unprecedented in history, bringing the mightiness and sacred prestige of our state to the top of the world. The combatants of the armed forces of the Republic who took part in overseas military operations in hearty response to the order of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea demonstrated to the whole world the transparent and outstanding ideological and spiritual superiority and fighting spirit of the KPA which no army in the world can match and the indomitable mettle of Koreans by weathering heavy gunfire in bloody life-and-death battles. A ceremony of awarding state commendations to the commanding officers and combatants of the overseas operation unit of the KPA was held at the headquarters building of the Central Committee of the WPK. Officials of the WPK Central Committee warmly greeted the brave soldiers who participated in the war, entering the yard of the Party Central Committee after traveling tens of thousands of miles in response to the ardent desire and sincere call of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to glorify the life of the great successors and representatives, who firmly carried forward the tradition of victory peculiar to our state in the new century, with the honour of gold star. Secretaries and other senior officials of the WPK Central Committee warmly congratulated the proud sons of the country putting garlands around their necks and giving bouquets. The venue of the ceremony was full of respect for the brave soldiers who participated in the war with boundless loyalty to the order of the country. Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, attended the ceremony. Present at the ceremony were commanding officers and combatants who performed distinguished feats in overseas military operations, and bereaved families of martyrs. Present there were members of the Central Military Commission of the WPK, leading commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and military and political officers of the large combined units of the KPA. The DPRK national anthem was played solemnly. The solemn melody of the national anthem, which redoubled pride of being the sons of the powerful country and the ardent patriotic desire in every moment of their life in the days of the decisive battles and inspired them to be in the van of the charge and to win immortal victories, made the hearts of the brave soldiers full of strong emotion. Kim Jong Un made a significant speech. Expressing his deep emotion of seeing again the admirable sons, heroes of the country who are the greatest pride of our state and waited by all the people at such a significant place and of awarding the title of DPRK Hero and high-level state commendations to them, he extended deep gratitude and warmest militant respect on behalf of the Party and the government to the commanding officers and combatants of the overseas operation unit who returned home with great honour and brilliant feats after bravely fighting as befitting the "Koreans" and the "Korean People's Army" despite the hail of bullets and bombs of the life-and-death war in the foreign country. The WPK Central Committee organized a ceremony of awarding state commendations with splendor at the headquarters building of the WPK Central Committee out of the mind to hold up the admirable heroes, who performed feats in the battlefield to defend the sacred prestige and dignity of the state, before the country and the people and make them respected and praised by the whole country, he said, adding that this is a special and valuable commendation given by the country and the people to the honourable victors who performed great exploits that cannot be achieved without bloody struggle. He said that holding the first awarding ceremony today, he misses even at this moment the images of the combatants who would be devoting themselves to carrying out their duties true to the order of the country and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives and that he could not repress his regret at failing to bring them all together to this glorious place, and courteously proposed to pay silent tribute to the immortality of the martyrs who devoted their precious lives in the overseas military operations. At the proposal of Kim Jong Un, all the participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs who ensured the great victory with their indomitable fighting spirit and noble sacrifice. Saying that all the participants in the overseas operations who performed great feats to be recorded in the history of the country for its eternal prosperity and mightiness are all great men, great heroes and great patriots, Kim Jong Un said with pride that the victory won by the brave soldiers who participated in the war is a great feat that firmly defended the great honour of the KPA, which should never be undermined, and provided a sure guarantee for the existence and development of our state and a victory to be recorded as a miracle in the history of our army building and the anti-imperialist revolutionary struggle and, at the same time, an event in the history of world wars that redefined the logic of the strong which has been handed down for thousands of years. The combat activities of the overseas operation units, representing the armed forces of the DPRK, in the battlefield which became the focus of the world have fully proved the might of the heroic KPA which emerges victorious with the sure superiority in ideology, spirit and Juche-oriented strategy and tactics, he said, adding that what the Party Central Committee attaches importance to and appreciates most is that the reputation of the ever-victorious KPA has been most rigorously verified in its 70-odd-year history and the actual condition of the KPA fully prepared for the war has been clearly confirmed. And he warmly said that today's awarding ceremony is an expression of gratitude and valuable appreciation of our Party, state and people for the historic deed of perfectly implementing the political decision made by the Party and government for the destiny and future of the country and of defending the great honour safeguarded by all generations of the DPRK for decades. Referring to the outstanding valour and noble self-sacrificing spirit displayed by our service personnel in the operational area where bullets and shells showered, Kim Jong Un said that they should be called the best heroes and the overseas operation unit the heroic unit and stressed that the key to the event of the victorious conclusion of overseas military operations lies not in the merits of some distinguished military men or heroes but in the popular character of heroism from A to Z and in the fact that the noble and beautiful mental and moral traits firmly dominated as the ideological feelings of all officers and men. Saying that all the participants in the overseas operations were thoroughgoing in executing orders, the original nature of the soldiers, and their love and devotion for the country and comrades-in-arms were at the same high level and they all had good moral quality of remaining loyal to their duties and making a choice according to conscience even at the last moment of their lives, he noted that with such extraordinary mental qualities, they let the world know what fundamental factor made our army strong and surely win in any battle, and this is an event that clearly marked the concept of the strong army and the law of victory on the times and history. He stressed that it is the pride and honour of the WPK and the DPRK government to have such an army as the pioneer and defender of their revolutionary cause and that the country defended by the heroic army is strong forever and the cause advancing with the heroic army in the vanguard is invincible. Referring to the important measures to be carried out as a national undertaking to hand down forever the feats of the great war participants, he affirmed that the glorious course pioneered by the brave soldiers' bloody struggle and the noble lives of the martyrs would never end and the records of the bloody battles bearing their names would shine forever as the most precious pages in the history of the country. Saying that our state will remain dignified, powerful and strong forever thanks to such great heroes as them and our army will carry forward the trend of the great history of war victory for all ages with their peculiar loyalty and heroic stamina, he wished the heroic officers and men of the overseas operation unit, who recorded the highest and brilliant climax in the long history of victory of our people and the absolute prestige of the revolutionary armed forces, immortal glory. The speech of Kim Jong Un, full of ardent love and true heart of the great father, stirred up the hearts of all the participants. All the participants expressed their greatest respect and boundless gratitude to Kim Jong Un, who clarified the clear strategy for victory in the battle with his outstanding military idea and extraordinary strategic and tactical wisdom, instilled the might and courage of annihilation into them with warm parental enthusiasm and affection and now puts them forward as great heroes and great patriots at the peak of the honour. A decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on conferring the title of DPRK Hero, order and medal on commanding officers and combatants who performed feats in overseas military operations was conveyed. Kim Jong Un personally awarded the title of DPRK Hero to the skilled military commanding officers who led the combat units of the armed forces of the Republic to victory and to the soldiers who performed distinguished feats. He personally fixed the DPRK Hero Medal beside the portraits of the martyrs, recollecting with reverence the noble images of the martyrs, who sacrificed their youth and lives warming their hearts with one faith and one will to thoroughly carry out the order of the country, and their last moments. At the venue of the ceremony, the "Song of Comradeship", reflecting the sacred history of the Korean revolution pioneered, advanced and emerged victorious with comradeship, resounded. And the touching picture to be immortal in the history of the country was seen conveying the warm blood ties between the leader and the soldiers. Kim Jong Un laid a flower before the memorial wall and paid silent tribute, wishing that the noble life of the martyrs who participated in the war to defend the dignity and honour of the great state with their precious lives would shine forever as a star of eternal feats in the memory of the country and the people. Members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence, military and political officers of the large combined units of the KPA and the bereaved families of the martyrs laid flowers before the memorial wall. Kim Jong Un met the bereaved families of the martyrs and consoled them, sharing with them the pain of loss. Army Col. General Kim Yong Bok, commander of the special operation unit, made a resolution speech on behalf of all the officers and men of the overseas operation unit. Kim Jong Un once again extended sincere thanks and noble tribute to all the officers and men of the overseas operation unit who defended the trust of the Party and the country in the KPA and fully displayed the great honour of the KPA, weathering the fierce battle fire with the glorious national flag kept in their hearts, and to the heroic martyrs who laid the foundation of sure victory of our state and army with great feats and biographies to be handed down to generations to come. The indomitable fighting spirit, mass heroism and immortal feats displayed by the combatants of the overseas operation unit of the armed forces of the DPRK will shine forever in the history of building a rich country with a strong army as an example of the absolute loyalty to the Party and the revolution peculiar to the KPA and a symbol of the eternal victory of our great state and our cause.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Meets Leading Commanding Officers of Overseas Operation Unit of KPA Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, met with the leading commanding officers of the overseas operation unit of the Korean People's Army who returned home to participate in the ceremony of awarding the state commendations of the DPRK at the headquarters building of the Central Committee of the WPK on August 20. After receiving a detailed report on the military activities of the combat units of our armed forces in the overseas operational area from the commanding officers, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un highly appreciated their feats of leading the combat units of our armed forces, which participated in the operations to liberate the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation, to victory. Saying that the country assigned them and their combat units to carry out the most important duty, Kim Jong Un conveyed warm militant encouragement to all the commanding officers and the combatants of the units who participated in the operations for liberating Kursk to display boundless loyalty to the trust of the country with legendary military merits. At the significant meeting, Kim Jong Un spoke highly of the KPA's heroic mettle, before saying: "Ours is a heroic army. Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Destroyer Choe Hyon and Learns about Training and Life of Sailors Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) - Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, visited the destroyer Choe Hyon on August 18 and acquainted himself with the course of the integrated operation test of the weapon system of the destroyer and the training and life of the sailors of the destroyer. Admiral Pak Kwang Sop, commander of the Navy of the Korean People's Army, greeted the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the spot. Kim Jong Un met the sailors of the destroyer Choe Hyon and acquainted himself in detail with the training and living conditions of them. And he set the goal of military and technical qualifications to be attained by the sailors for the operation of the new-type destroyer and expressed his view on the training mode for its realization. After receiving a report on the course of the sectional tests of the various weapon systems of the warship and the composition of the integrated operation system, he expressed satisfaction over the fact that the major tasks for making the navy high-tech and nuclear-armed are progressing on a stage-by-stage basis as planned. He underlined the need to complete the tasks slated for August and September and move on to the next stage, the process of assessing the performance and capability for conducting operations of the ship, in October as planned. That day, he received a report on the third Choe Hyon-class new-type multi-mission destroyer being built at the Nampho Shipyard and its long-term plan. And he had an important conversation with technicians and experts in the field of the shipbuilding industry. He said that it is the most important state affairs that not drops without delay from the viewpoint of the development of the DPRK armed forces and in view of the military theory based on the geopolitical peculiarities of the DPRK to extremely rapidly develop the capability for operations of our Navy which is performing its duty in the major space of national defence. He said that, as he had stressed before, the security environment around the DPRK is getting more serious day by day and the prevailing situation requires us to make a radical and swift change in the existing military theory and practice and rapid expansion of nuclearization. Labeling the U.S.-ROK joint military exercises being staged again from now as a clear expression of stand of openly revealing their intention to remain most hostile and confrontational to the DPRK, Kim Jong Un said that the U.S.-ROK intensified military nexus and the muscle-flexing are the most obvious manifestation of their will to ignite a war and the source of destroying the peace and security environment in the region. He said that the U.S.-ROK military exercises which had become habitual practice from long ago have always been provocative and dangerous in their nature but the gravity is increasing from the characteristics that they are recently plotting military nexus with the nuclear element involved. And such changing situation requires us to take counteraction with proactive and overwhelming changes, he stressed. He said that the DPRK will continue to bring about important and eventful changes in the position and activities of the DPRK Navy defending the core of the national sovereignty with unstoppable struggle and strenuous efforts and that the Navy will become a reliable force firmly performing a part in the composition of the state nuclear forces and the realm of nuclear use in the near future. It means that the combat strength of the DPRK Navy is growing more adaptable to the fulfillment of the national defence strategy and the use of war deterrent, he added. The most reliable and steadfast way and guarantee for controlling and keeping the security environment of the region and firmly defending the sovereignty and security of the DPRK are only to make enemies afraid of the DPRK, he said, adding that such view of the DPRK on controlling the situation and the national defence strategy will remain unchanged. He affirmed that important measures for the accelerated growth of the national defence capabilities will surely be taken continuously and the firm will and capabilities of the DPRK to defend the sovereignty and security of the country will be expressed through practical actions.
Kim Yo Jong, Vice Department Director of C.C., WPK, Censures Seoul Authorities for Deceptive Attempt at "Appeasement Offensive" Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, at a consultative meeting with major director generals of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK on August 19 sharply criticized the essence of the deceptive "appeasement offensive" of the ROK government and its double character and conveyed the foreign policy plan of the head of state. Kim Yo Jong analyzed the behaviour of Seoul which is feigning that the ROK's policy towards the DPRK is making a "rapid U-turn" while saying that it respects the social system of the DPRK and will not seek any form of unification by absorption and has no intention of committing all hostile acts. She said that now the president of the ROK, whenever an opportunity presents itself, is talking about "pebble", "trust" and "patience" like a vagarious poet, saying that "mutual trust would be restored if little practices are piled up like pebbles" and Jong Tong Yong, a minister serving the ROK authorities, put forth a so-called five-point core tasks in a report on major work plan at a foreign affairs and unification committee of the National Assembly. Saying that it is like an endemic in Seoul where every regime and everyone have a dream and interpret it of their own accord and express "hope" and "idea" as they please, she disclosed the strange nature of the ones in the ROK and their sinister intention. She said: Commenting on the idea, every word and phrase of it is a fancy and a pipedream. It's like listening to a resolution speech. As the old saying goes that it takes two to wrestle, how can he put such a resolution into practice by himself alone? The ROK people seem satisfied only to hear a government official's resolution full of such unrealizable dreams. Certainly, we can see at once the "serious efforts" to create a good impression that something is changing for the "improvement" of the DPRK-ROK relations after Lee Jae Myung took power. The real intention is to show continuously that they are making steady efforts for peace. But no matter how desperately the stinky confrontational nature is swathed in a wrapper of peace, the awl in the sack can never be hidden. We have witnessed and experienced the dirty political system of the ROK for decades as well as the process of regime change from Moon Jae In to Yoon Suk Yeol and now we are sick and tired of it. To state the conclusion, the ambition for confrontation with the DPRK has been invariably pursued by the ROK, whether it held the signboard of "conservatism" or wore a mask of "democracy". Lee Jae Myung is not the sort of man who will change the course of history. We clearly remember that Jo Hyon and An Kyu Baek, the chiefs of diplomacy and defense, which form the basis of the Lee Jae Myung regime, openly said at a time when they were designated as candidates that they regard the north Korean regime and the north Korean army as their enemies. At this moment, the Lee Jae Myung regime is repeating the predecessors' gibberish of "defensive drill" even after staging the reckless U.S.-ROK war drill for aggression directly threatening the security of the DPRK. This is the part clearly illuminating the double character of the Seoul authorities who are carrying two faces under the hood. As I emphasized a few days ago, there is a clear purpose for the rulers of the ROK in producing amicable image. They also know that the DPRK-ROK relations desired by them will never come back. If they don't know, they will be idiots. They continue to tediously talk about peace and improved relations, being well aware that it is impossible to realize them, because they have an ulterior motive to finally shift the responsibility for the DPRK-ROK relations failing to recover on to the DPRK. We should not forget the fact that any one in the ROK is the top-class faithful dog of the U.S. In particular, we should pay attention to the fact that through the current joint military drill, which is being staged again while making a sign of reconciliation, the ROK is examining a new combined operation plan ("OPLAN 5022") for "removing" the nuclear and missile capabilities of the DPRK at an early stage and expanding the attack into its territory. Clarifying once again on this occasion, the ROK cannot be a diplomatic partner of the DPRK. The ROK, which is not serious, weighty and honest, will not have even a subordinate work in the regional diplomatic arena centered on the DPRK. The DPRK Foreign Ministry should seek a proper countermeasure as regards the relations with the most hostile state and the states listening to its instigation, based on the conclusion of our head of state who pointed out the essence of the ROK. At the consultative meeting, Kim Yo Jong conveyed the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's foreign policy plan for taking a preemptive counteraction in a diplomatic way against the enemy states posing a lasting danger to the sovereignty and security of the DPRK and for controlling the rapidly-changing regional and international geopolitical situation in conformity with the national interests of the DPRK and held an in-depth discussion on the orientation of the immediate diplomatic activities.
