Joint Statement
The Pan-African Conference on the Ideas of Juche with the theme of “African youth facing the imperative of peace, independence and development” was held this Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Africana Palace hotel under the support of the minister in charge of culture, arts andheritage and the noted presence of the Dean of Congolese senators, the honorable Senator Patriarch Jonas Mukamba.
Organized by the Civil Society World of Work, Scimotra, eight delegations of scientific personalities from South Africa, Egypt, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania, Guinea Conakry and Japan met around of Professor Lohekele Kalonda André, their Secretary General to lead the said activity by developing several reflections relating to the central theme.
Some avenues have been outlined for young people aware of their responsibilities:
- Africans are largely responsible for the calamities which overwhelm the Continent through their treachery, their cowardice, their selfishness for illicit enrichment, their tendency to irrationality, their spirit of servility, their acculturation, etc.
- African problems must find solutions mainly on their own
- external powers exploit, pillage and alienate through our complicity
- it is from all these weaknesses that we must build, internalize and implement a new paradigm based on self-confidence, creative space, freedom, etc. .who make Africans subjects of history who chase away obscurantism through the mastery of new technologies, who exclude mental alienation through the valorization of our cultural and civilizational background and who can no longer allow exploitation by promoting cooperation win-win.
- and this is precisely the quintessence of the Juche Ideas.
- African youth must imbibe these patriotic values to constitute a spearhead of the development of tomorrow's Africa.
- fight for the security of one's living space, restore one's human dignity and national pride while respecting the laws and legally established authorities
- promote the dialogue of civilizations for a world loving peace, freedom, solidarity and progress
- remain constant in your republican convictions with zero tolerance towards traitors to the Fatherland, and to the people as well as to the starvers of this same people
- work at all times for the well-being of populations by constantly listening to them, at their service.
After all these exchanges, two Messages were read, first that of thanks to the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and finally that of tribute to Marshal Kim Jong Un, worthy continuation of the legacy of the Juche Ideas.
After the closing of the Conference, the Congolese Observatory for Good Governance and Social Affairs awarded a Diploma of Merit to Professor Dr Lohekele Kalonda André in front of his African and Japanese peers to the general satisfaction of the audience. This Diploma of Merit was justified by the numerous feats of the nominee in favor of the working populations of his country. For the person concerned, it is not only a recognition but also and above all a challenge for the future.
After a visit of contemplation to the Laurent Désiré Kabila Mausoleum in the evening, the various African and Japanese delegations were treated to the exhibition of the tetela folk group in the large room of the Africana Palace hotel. Everyone did a dance step, especially the Japanese.
All's well that ends well
